A prominent organisation in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Associate to facilitate programs for Malaysian professionals abroad. The role includes planning and executing initiatives, building partnerships, managing operational processes, and communicating with diverse stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, excellent organizational and networking skills, and a bachelor's degree in a related field. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, along with solid analytical and reporting abilities.
Plan, organise, and execute facilitation programmes and collaboration initiatives for Malaysian professionals abroad by ensuring timely and impactful delivery.
Identify new opportunities through networking, attending relevant events, and engaging with stakeholders and develop new initiatives that benefit Malaysian professionals abroad while strengthening facilitation and collaboration efforts.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships while working closely with the Lead and the Department to design, enhance and implement initiatives based on insights, data and user needs.
Collaborate with other MyHeart Facilitation business units to deliver relevant engagements including networking sessions with Malaysian employers, knowledge sessions and other facilitation programmes.
Oversee day-to-day operational and financial processes including budget monitoring, expenditure tracking and ensuring efficient programme management.
Responsible for data collection, research and data management efforts to inform programme enhancements and support initiatives beneficial to Malaysians abroad.
Track KPIs, programme progress, event outcomes, schedule changes and new opportunities by ensuring the team stays aligned and informed.
Monitor and gather stakeholder feedback to provide insights, recommendations and adjustments that improve programme effectiveness.
Support cross-functional team objectives, stepping in where needed to drive successful outcomes and perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Proven ability to plan and manage multiple initiatives with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the capacity to identify opportunities, propose initiatives and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Strong networking skills with experience engaging diverse stakeholders (e.g., employers, government agencies, higher institutions, vendors and corporate partners) and building strategic relationships.
Working knowledge of project management principles including scheduling, budgeting and progress tracking.
Solid analytical, communication and reporting skills with the ability to gather feedback, interpret data and provide insights to improve programmes.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with data management or reporting tools is a plus.
3 – 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, project management, programme coordination, partnership development and working with diverse audiences and/or diaspora communities.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
