Job summary

An educational centre in Malacca is seeking an Office Administrator to coordinate office activities and manage schedules. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant experience, with a background in PA/Admin preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets is essential, while knowledge in PowerPoint is an added advantage. Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin will be beneficial. This role requires at least 12 hours in the office per week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in PA/Admin is preferred.
  • Based in Melaka.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the overall office activities to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.
  • Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Attend to customer enquiries (phone and emails).
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (emails, letters, packages etc.).
  • When required, undertake basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, issue receipts, cheques etc.
  • Create and update students record and databases and maintaining updating the system.
  • To do timesheets and claims.
  • Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
  • Take minutes of meetings and dictations.
  • Any other tasks determined by the company from time to time.
  • Need to come in to the centre at least 12 hours a week.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Background in PA/ Admin is preferred.
  • Based in Melaka.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Sheets, knowledge in PPT is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English & Mandarin is an added advantage.
