Job summary

A property development company in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage the complete accounting function. You'll be responsible for preparing financial reports, ensuring tax compliance, and liaising with auditors and stakeholders. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in finance/accounting, possess a degree or professional qualification, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Finance/Accountancy.
  • Knowledge in property development accounts is an advantage.
  • Preferably experienced in Finance - General/Cost Accounting.

Job description

· Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and other related schedule includes general accounting, account receivable, account payable, tax and treasury issues.

· Maintain updated accounting records.

· Prepare audit schedules and account reconciliations, to assist in audit matters (eg: preparing and providing documents to auditors) to ensure smooth and successful audit process.

· Perform day to day accounting operations.

· Compile progress billing and collection reports as required by management.

· Prepare Borang 7(E) annually and 7 (F) quarterly as per KPKT requirements.

· Ensure tax compliance and coordinate year end audit.

· Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretary, stakeholder & etc.

· Manage and monitor current bank accounts, HDA accounts and daily cash positions. Ensure that company\'s commitments are met and to highlight if there is a foreseeable shortage of funds or cash flow deficit.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

Minimum 3 year(s) of relevant working experience in the related field is required for this position (preferably with Property Development / Construction industry).

Knowledge in property development accounts / stage billing for HDA will be an added advantage.

Preferably Executives specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

Well organized, detailed, analytical, systematic, cost conscious, good interpersonal and communication skills.
