Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Management Accountant and wider team in meeting reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and forecasts in line with business models and timelines.
  • Develop a strong understanding of cost and revenue drivers to identify and implement improvements that enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Contribute to ongoing cost‑reduction analysis across the business.
  • Participate in benchmarking studies to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Help interpret financial results and provide recommendations to management.
  • Build strong relationships with the operations team and act as the key finance contact.
  • Support the enhancement of reporting procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with accounting standards.
  • Conduct analytical reviews, investigations, and prepare reports for management.
  • Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis when required.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc KPI reports within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain and develop month‑end processes to ensure best practice.
  • Ensure accounting entries comply with internal policies, external standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations within set timescales.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity in all financial reporting.
  • Support Senior Management Accountant to manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
  • Report to management on the variances from the standard budget, & the reasons for those variance.
  • Assist Operations to identify/monitor/deliver initiatives to ensure budget/forecast is achieved.
  • Support Senior Management Accountant to manage the set‑up, updating and integrity of City forecasting and planning models/tools.
  • Conduct variance analysis on all forecast inputs, investigate anomalies and negotiate with forecast providers to eliminate variances as required.
  • Assist in preparation of relevant presentations of budget data to Senior Management.
  • Prepare other budgeting & forecasts as required.
  • Financial Year End Reporting
  • Support team to manage internal/external Audits, their queries and other regulatory requirements as required.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting standards and ordinance and ensure any required changes are brought to Managements’ attention.
  • Support team to manage internal & external audit preparation in accordance with Department policy as required.

  • Support the Senior Management Accountant in reporting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities.
  • Participate in projects when required.
  • Assist in managing and improving financial systems.
  • Provide operational finance support to other departments on financial matters and queries.
  • Support the wider team, department, and business as needed.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by Management to achieve company objectives.

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance / Accounting or related field.
  • Proven financial, statutory reporting and analytical skills.
  • High level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures.
