Responsibility

General Job Description :

Responsible to work under Group Reporting pertaining to the accounting, financial reporting and analysis, taxation, budgeting and performance, internal controls and risk management systems and update standard operating policies to enhance its relevance, efficiencies and effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Ensure timely delivery of statutory reporting and management accounts.
  • Perform financial analysis and review monthly management reports and assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor the variance and reasons for those variances and report on a timely basis.
  • Assist in preparation of Group Consolidation Account.
  • Review Account Receivable & expenses transactions, audit schedules, inter-company transactions and various reconciliations.
  • Assist in the finalization of the audit and review corporate income tax submission.
  • Liaise with tax agents, auditors, company secretary, and other relevant bodies, when required.
  • Ensure the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
  • Assist in implementation and improvements to finance policies, internal controls, systems and processes.
  • Assist in preparing group transfer pricing documents.
  • Attend yearly inventory count and/or yearly fixed assets count, when required.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring for subordinates.
  • Participate in the training program arranged by the Company in order to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies required for work performance improvement purposes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
