A reputable company in Johor Bahru is seeking an accountant to manage Accounts Receivable, Payable, GL, and Payroll. The candidate should have at least a Professional Certificate or Degree in Finance or Accountancy, and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software like Xero is essential. Strong communication skills are a must, with Mandarin proficiency preferred. This role involves maintaining financial records and liaising with various departments.
Responsible for handling Account Receivable (AR), Account Payable (AP), GL and Payroll
Handle full set accounts, monthly management account and financial year end account
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Preparation and submission of SST
Responsible for monitoring inventories and fixed assets records
Liaise with related departments to coordinate any finance and accounting matters
Maintain the proper document control and filing record
Any other duties may be assigned from time to time by management
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with accounting software such as Xero.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels.
Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients.
