Job description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accounting to join our client's team. In this role, you will work closely with the members of the Accounting team and other clients' service teams to deliver financial reports and information on time. You will be required to use accounting software and systems such as Xero and have a firm understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing a full set of financial statements following Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) for SME clients.
  • Providing bookkeeping, accounting, tax computation, and tax filing services to clients following local legal regulations and requirements.
  • Providing prompt accounting support to clients.
  • Supporting the digital transformation of clients' finance functions.
  • Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll using the HR management system.
  • Provide training to clients on proper usage of Xero and related applications.
  • Reconcile transactions in Xero to provide regular management reports to clients.
  • Work closely with fellow statutory compliance team members to support Corporate Tax and GST filings (Form C‑S and ECI).
  • Perform simple tax computations as well as accounting for GST companies.
  • Assist management, together with various departments in driving continuous improvement in internal processes and controls.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum Higher Nitec in Accountancy or ACCA or other related courses.
  • Min. 3 years of working experience in related fields.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects/engagements with short deadlines.
  • Proficient in Xero as an accounting system to handle bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and tax filing.
  • Implement Xero for clients as well as provide basic training to educate clients on the usage of Xero.
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations.
