Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the dynamic team at CNB Amanah Berhad in Damansara Perdana, Selangor. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timely reporting of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain full sets of accounts, including GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliation, journal entries and investigate any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS/IFRS and internal financial policies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and other financial analyses.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide accurate audit schedules and documentation.
• Participate in special projects and ad‑hoc tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relevant to PE activities.

What We're Looking For

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA or CPA).
• Minimum 3-5 years of post‑qualification experience in the accounting or finance function, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience in private equity, fund management, asset management, or investment‑related accounting is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
