Job description

Manage and review group’s consolidated financial reporting and presentation for timely submission, including monitoring of entities closing status and preparation of group elimination entries.

To prepare monthly group variance analysis and to facilitate financial statement presentation to senior management.

Maintain, manage and drive for finance operational efficiency with the consolidation system.

Review subsidiaries’ monthly and quarterly reporting package.

Work together with direct superior to drive standardization of reporting package across the Group.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement, accounting standards and latest financial developments affecting the companies.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and other statutory bodies to ensure compliance with matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.

Support on-going and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification.
• 4-5 years of working experience in audit firms or public listed companies.
• Well verse with Accounting Standards (MFRS), Malaysian Taxation and Bursa Malaysia’s requirements and excellent consolidation knowledge.
• Positive and can‑do attitude, proactive, committed, and possess strong communication skills.
• Able to work independently and influence in a team‑based environment.
• Experience in auditing, financial planning & analysis is an added advantage.
