Job summary

A leading filtration company in Iskandar Puteri, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage key client and vendor accounts. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts receivable/payable, preparing financial reports, and coordinating across departments for smooth operations. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of accounting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in English and another language, such as Mandarin or Malay. This position offers the opportunity to guide junior team members and support compliance and audit tasks.

Senior Account Executive (Accounting / Finance)

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management
    • Manage and maintain key client and vendor accounts.
    • Handle accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, ageing monitoring, collections, and payment follow‑ups.
  • Cross‑Department Coordination
    • Liaise between finance and other departments (sales, procurement, operations, warehouse).
    • Ensure smooth processes for invoicing, payments, and collections.
  • Reporting
    • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial reports (AR/AP, ageing, cash flow, receivables schedule).
  • Financial Support
    • Assist with month‑end closing, cash flow management, expense control, budget vs. actual analysis, and account reviews.
    • Provide financial insights to support decision‑making by senior management (Accountant / Finance Manager).
  • Team Supervision
    • Guide or supervise junior Account Assistants or Executives.
    • Coordinate workload distribution and ensure accuracy.
  • Audit & Compliance
    • Support audit, compliance, SST, and tax matters.
    • Prepare vouchers, reports, and supporting documentation.
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of accounting or finance experience, with exposure to complex account management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (Mandarin, Malay, depending on company requirements).
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
