Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Negeri Sembilan is looking for an experienced accounting professional responsible for preparing full set accounts and managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely account management, handle SST & E-Invoice submissions, manage HR tasks, and be familiar with Malaysia’s accounting standards. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience is necessary, and candidates who can start immediately are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required.
• Experience in construction accounts is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set accounts.
• Ensure effective management of accounts payable and receivable.
• Manage daily accounting operations.
• Handle payroll and statutory submissions.
• Assist in updating HR ISO policies and procedures.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of full set accounts.
• Ensure the account payable, account receivable, bank reconciliation, journal and general functions are performed in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
• Manage daily accounting operations.
• Handle SST & E-Invoice submissions.
• To handle HR & admin related matters such as payroll, worker’s wages, staff claims, and all statutory submissions.
• Assist in HR ISO policies, procedures and forms are updated as per ISO requirements.
• Perform duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma,Bachelor’s Degree,Post Graduate Diploma,Professional Degree, in accounting finance or related field.
• At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Familiar with Malaysia’s accounting standards, SST and LHDN e-invoicing.
• Having experience in construction accounts would be added advantage.
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice is preferred.
