Responsibilities
  • Development of SAP RICEF (Report, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) for SAP modules.
  • Manage and ensure seamless integration of all development and technical tasks between all teams on Integration and process related activities.
  • Develop and maintain Linux/Windows OS script for interface batch file transfer.
  • Collaborate with basis, comm, server and IT security for integration architecture setup.
  • Perform configuration setting and support for SAP PI NetWeaver and SAP Fiori.
  • Assist all application analysts in developing functional specifications so that they are convertible to technical specifications where required.
  • Provide on‑going support for SAP systems, primarily in the areas of development and integration to 3rd parties.
  • Support and assessment of change requests (corrections, enhancements), proposing and developing solutions.
  • Validate work tasks, costing and delivery schedules for the project or assignment undertaken.
  • Performs technical reviews and ensure that the development objects are optimal and meet business requirements.
  • Challenge solutions provided by external consultants on best practices and ensure compliance to technical guidelines.
  • To keep up with new technology on application development / programming work in ABAP/Web Services as well as other technical areas such as API and connectivity setup between systems.
  • Guide junior programmers and monitor/supervise their work.
  • Knowledge and experience in applying OSS notes.
  • To always uphold development standards and ensure efficient program design.
  • Participate and support SAP projects/initiatives, performing tasks such as:
    • Writing technical specs;
    • Carry out ABAP coding work;
    • Conduct testing;
    • Conduct technical training where required on system interfaces;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Systems or Engineering.
  • At least 2-3 years SAP experience in the area of ABAP.
  • Possess excellent analytical, communication, presentation and soft skills.
  • Able to communicate well in English.
  • Able to write clearly and concisely and work within tight deadlines.
  • Able to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Possess personal attributes such as maturity, interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative.
  • Challenge change requests for ABAP to ensure they are practical and in line with standard SAP where possible.
  • Keen to learn, a team player and have good working attitude.
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) skills.
