Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Product Testing & Validation
  • Plan, develop and implement testing software for Micron NAND offerings.
  • Conduct experiments and gather performance data to refine testing methodologies.
  • Monitor Lab results to assist engineering teams with test time reductions and yield improvements; monitor yields and ensure delivery of high-quality products.
  • Share test outcomes with stakeholders for continuous improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for application methods, processes and lessons learned.
Lab Operations & Equipment Management
  • Supervise the maintenance of Test Racks, Palomar systems, ovens, and testing sockets.
  • Support and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Perform minor hardware modifications and debugging of PCBs of systems.
  • Develop and maintain reliable, maintainable, and portable test scripts and programs.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Quality assurance
  • Work with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to implement quality and reliability improvements as well as sourcing needed tools, knowledge and testers.
  • Work with Marketing team in conjunction with external Controller partners and third-party sourcing of evaluation hardware/software for Micron NAND memory product testing, including sockets.
  • Work with lab technicians to ensure Product Testing and Validation accuracy.
  • Share information to raise departmental awareness and technical knowledge.
Environmental Health, Safety & Security (EHSS)
  • Maintain quality standards throughout development and testing cycles.
  • Comply with all EHSS policies, procedures, and audits.
  • Promote a safe working environment and encourage team consistency with EHSS guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with SSD/USB/SD application testing or product qualification.
  • Strong understanding of NAND architecture and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in lab instrumentation and debugging hardware/software systems.
  • Preferred familiarity with JEDEC standards and NAND interface protocols.
  • Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, Shell and/or Perl.
  • Knowledge of NAND applications terminology, system components and functions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
