Job summary

A well-established foreign investment bank in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Security Analyst to enhance cybersecurity measures. Responsibilities include monitoring alerts in the Security Operations Center, coordinating vulnerability assessments, and conducting risk assessments. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Computer Science or IT, with at least 5 years of experience in IT Security or Cyber Security, along with relevant professional certifications. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of IT Security/Cyber Security experience.
  • Professional certificates in IT Security/Cyber Security are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines including BNM RMiT, PayNet, Swift CSCF.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Security Operation Center alerts for event detection.
  • Coordinate Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests.
  • Analyze threat intelligence feeds to identify cyber threats.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor Security Operation Center alerts for event detection, response, and recovery.
  • Coordinate Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests, ensuring timely remediation.
  • Analyze threat intelligence feeds to identify and address cyber threats.
  • Conduct IT Security risk assessments in compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare IT Security and compliance reports, collaborating with IT Managers.
  • Develop and administer IT Security policies and procedures.
  • Provide Cyber Security advisory in coordination with the CISO Office.
  • Plan and execute IT Security projects and initiatives.
  • Participate in DRP/BCP exercises and internal/external IT Audits.
  • Manage Key Risk Indicators established by stakeholders and regulators.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT Security/Cyber Security experience.
  • Professional certificates in IT Security/Cyber Security are advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently.
