Section Manager / Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance

We are looking for an experienced Section Manager / Senior Quality Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes across the organization. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the operation of the QA department and be responsible for all aspects of quality control / assurance and handling customer complaints.

Primary interface with customers on quality related matter.

Setting agreed clear requirement with customer through quality plan.

Drive the Supplier Quality team (SQE) on incoming material quality issues.

Manage and oversee QA incoming, in-process and final inspection processes supported by QA Engineers.

Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformance and develop action plans to address identified issues.

Guide engineers to respond effectively to customers' feedbacks/CAPA, follow up with quality metrics set in quality plan.

Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

To work closely with Production and Engineering team to minimize reject by establishing and communicate quality standards that must be met throughout the production process.

Ensure compliance with industry ISO standards and internal quality policies.

Handle customer audit and reply the non-conformance item highlight during the audit.

Prepare reports and presentations for management on quality performance and improvement activities.

Requirement:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science.

Minimum 15 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment with 7 years in a managerial post with a strong understanding of quality systems and methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership and communication abilities.

Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

Knowledge of statistical process control and quality improvement techniques.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
