About the role

Managing Incoming Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Validation Section in daily lab operation. Ensure incoming raw materials and packaging materials samples are tested and released timely and oversee overall lab validation activities including AMV, Method Transfer, spreadsheet validation and validation review.

Role Responsibilities

1. Ensure smooth operation of Incoming Raw Materials, Packaging Materials and Validation section with compliance to SOP and laboratory procedures, including use of validated testing methods, adherence to schedule maintenance and calibration program, use of valid reference standards, and adherence to the Out of specification procedure.
2. Oversee the Raw Material, Packaging Material and Validation section daily operation and ensure sub-ordinates QC Analysts have completed the OJT program on specific equipment and skills related to their assigned tasks and have passed the competency assessment prior to start testing.
3. Review and approve worksheets of the test results of incoming and retested raw materials and packaging materials when all specifications are met against the approved specification.
4. Ensure testing and approval of raw materials and packaging materials are done in a timely manner as per schedule and track the testing flow to meet the monthly section KPI.
5. SOP/WI author and subject matter expert for assigned area and instrument including generation, revision and obsolescence of related SOPs or Work Instructions.
6. Ensure all validation activities are performed according to the SVMP schedule and adhere to the agreed project timeline from project governance meeting.
7. In charge of overall lab validation activities including AMV, Method Transfer, spreadsheet validation and Validation review by managing the task among team members to achieve timely completion with supervision.

• Degree in science in Chemistry or any related field.
• 5 years’ experience in QC Lab operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or any related field.
• Vast knowledge and experience in validation activities.
• Skilled in supervising QC personnel and overseeing daily operations within the quality control function.
