Job description

Nexus International School Malaysia is seeking an outstanding Drama Teacher to join our wonderful school. The successful candidate will be a passionate, well-qualified Drama teacher preferably with experience in at least one of our core curriculum offers (IGCSE Drama or IB Theatre Studies). The job requires the weekly delivery of a Co-Curricular Activity and the possibility of a form tutor role (with time given in your timetable to do this).

Nexus is located in Putrajaya - one of the larger suburbs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 2008 as part of the Taylor’s Education Group, we currently enrol 750 students from Early Years to Year 13 who learn through the IPC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula. We have an inclusive admissions policy and you can expect to teach learners with learning and language needs as well as exceptionally academic children. The student population is made up of over 30 different nationalities giving our school a truly global character. Previous international experience is not required, but the desire to work in a diverse international community is essential.

Your references must cover the last 5 years as a minimum, therefore you may need to add a fourth reference to ensure you meet this safeguarding requirement.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and first round interviews will be held online during the application period and for a week extending after the deadline. Final round interviews will be held in January. Candidates will be given the package information before the final round interview to aid with decision-making. Both interviews will take place online via Zoom.
