Job description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Seafreight Customer Service Executive to join our growing logistics team. This role is essential in managing and coordinating all sea freight operations while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and timely delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle daily operations for import and export sea freight shipments.
  • Liaise with carriers, agents, customers, and overseas offices to coordinate shipment schedules and documentation.
  • Monitor shipment progress and update customers regularly on cargo status.
  • Prepare and check shipping documentation including BLs, invoices, packing lists, and other required documents.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Work closely with internal departments (sales, operations, customs clearance, and warehousing) to ensure smooth cargo handling.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, international regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records in the system.
  • Support billing and invoicing accuracy in coordination with the accounts department.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in seafreight customer service or related logistics role.
  • Familiar with Incoterms, shipping documentation, and sea freight procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
