Job Responsibilities:
Independently handled the entire process of export and import, with access to local Malaysian customs clearance and trucking resources.
Maintaining existing customers, managing daily sea freight shipments, customs declarations, and trucking to the destination port, ensuring full-process operation and tracking.
Continuously sourcing and optimizing resources to gradually replace with the best solutions.
Developing local sea freight business to increase revenue and volume.
Plan, coordinate, and execute sea freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Book cargo space with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and consolidators.
Track shipments and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
Resolve operational issues such as delays, demurrage, or customs clearance problems.
Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, packing lists, and customs declarations.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Work closely with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth clearance.
Analyze shipping data and generate reports to improve operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
Min Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Min 2+ years of experience in sea freight operations, shipping, or logistics.
