A logistics company in Selangor is seeking an SCM Executive for the Export Division. You will manage the organization and distribution of shipping documents while coordinating shipments to ensure timely delivery. The role requires excellent communication skills, a degree in logistics, and proficiency in English and Malay. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure. This position offers an opportunity for fresh graduates, with work located in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
Organize and distribut relevant communications and documents to customers, including contracts, quotations, orders and invoices.
Coordinate and manage all outbound shipments to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
Create Sales Order (SO), Delivery Orders (DO) and all required shipping documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Ensure goods and shipping documents are delivered to customers on time, and proactively update shipment status to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with freight forwarders to arrange shipments and documentation, ensuring customs clearance and delivery are completed according to the agreed schedule.
Liaise with the warehouse team to coordinate loading and unloading arrangements for export shipments.
Manage invoice issuance and reslove any billing-related issues promptly.
Liaise with the Chamber of Commerce and other relevant agencies regarding export regulations, documentation and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including orders, invoices and shipping documentation.
Coordinate with the finance team and customers to resolve payment-related matters.
Liaise with banks on documentation and payment matters related to Letters of Credit (LC), Documents Against Acceptance (DA) and Documents Against Payment (DP).
Support the department in executing other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.
As SCM Executive (Export Division):
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to plan, organize and coordinate a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
Strong problem-solving capabilities.
Proactive in identifying areas for process improvement and supporting the development, implementation and training of new procedures as required.
Degree in Logistic or any related fields in SCM.
General knowledge of PCs and common related software
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
SAP
Proficient in English and Malay (both written and spoken).
Minimum 1 year of experience in related field preferred, fresh graduates will also be considered.
Willing to work at Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya
