Sekolah Sri UCSI is seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics & Science Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that nurture curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong foundation in STEM. This role requires strong subject knowledge, effective classroom practice, and a commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development within a values-based school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Mathematics and Science in alignment with the school’s curriculum framework.
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans, teaching resources, and assessments that promote conceptual understanding and practical application.
  • Foster a student-centered, inquiry-based learning environment that encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
  • Apply a variety of teaching strategies and educational technologies to enhance learning and student engagement.
  • Monitor, assess, and evaluate student progress; provide timely and constructive feedback; and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Integrate real-world applications and cross-curricular STEM connections to make learning meaningful and relevant.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and prepare academic reports.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being.
  • Promote a positive classroom culture that upholds respect, responsibility, and academic excellence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Education, B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Mathematics and/or Science.
  • Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
