Role Overview

Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SAP Transportation Management (TM). The candidate will lead end‑to‑end SAP supply chain solution implementations, optimize logistics processes, and work closely with clients across various industries. This role requires a strong functional background, hands‑on configuration experience, and the flexibility to travel and work onsite with clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full‑cycle SAP EWM and TM implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions, focusing on warehouse and transportation processes.
• Configure SAP EWM and TM modules to meet client‑specific needs, including inbound/outbound processes, warehouse structure, transportation planning, and freight settlement.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and other consultants to design and deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices, process improvements, and system optimization.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP EWM and TM environments.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations, particularly in S/4HANA and embedded EWM/TM.
• Travel to client sites and work onsite as required (up to 50–75% travel depending on project needs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP EWM and TM.
• Proven experience in at least 2 full‑lifecycle implementations of SAP EWM and/or TM.
• Strong understanding of logistics execution, warehouse operations, and transportation planning.
• Experience with S/4HANA embedded EWM and TM is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with integration points between EWM, TM, MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and client‑facing skills.
• SAP certification in EWM or TM is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work onsite with clients.
