Job summary

A leading property development company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to assist in developing and enhancing solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in information technology and at least 5 years of experience in Salesforce.com. The role involves building high-performance Apex code, collaborating with administrators, and maintaining technical documentation. Familiarity with the property industry is a plus.

Job description

To assist Lead of Application Support (Salesforce) team to develop/design, deploy, maintain, and enhance relevant projects on Salesforce.com.

• Collaborate with Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
• Develop coding modules as a subject matter expert (SME).
• Build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex coding with best practices.
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
• Develop robust understanding on business processes and standard operating procedures
• Maintain and support existing solution on Salesforce.com platform.
• Collaborate among and support colleagues within the team and Digital Transformation & IT Department for solving business challenges.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for development of Salesforce platform with Apex and Lightning Web Components.
• Develop solutions using Salesforce best practice, patterns, and testing requirements.
• Maintain proper technical documentations.
• Keep abreast of relevant technological advancements on Salesforce.com
• Assists in establishing standard operating procedures, policies, and best practices for the implementation of Salesforce solutions.

Education/ Professional Qualification & Professional Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or any other related fields of study.
• Having minimum 5 years’ experience on Salesforce.com platform.
• Having minimum 3 years successfully completing multiple Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementations.
• Strong development skills including Visual Force, Lightning Web components, SOQL, SOSL, Force.com APIs and Web Services.

Added Advantages

• Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements.
• Having certifications from Salesforce.com like Certified Platform Developer I/II, Certified Platform App Builder etc.
• Having interest / working experience in the property and real estate industry is an advantage.
