Job summary

A prominent trading company in Gombak is seeking a Sales Representative to drive FMCG sales. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant experience and a diploma in Business or Marketing. Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, managing accounts, coordinating orders, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Candidates must possess strong negotiation and planning skills, and effective communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. Ownership of a vehicle and readiness to travel is required.

  • 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in trading.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Possess own transport and valid driving licence.

Job Responsibilities
Sales & Target Achievement
  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets
  • Execute sales strategies, promotions, and product launches
Outlet Coverage & Account Management
  • Manage and grow existing retail, wholesale, and distributor accounts
  • Open new outlets and expand distribution channels
  • Plan and execute efficient route coverage
Order Processing & Coordination
  • Take accurate orders and submit promptly
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics for timely delivery
  • Resolve order and delivery issues
Merchandising & Visibility
  • Ensure proper product display, shelf placement, and planogram compliance
  • Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and FIFO practice
Collection & Credit Control
  • Ensure timely collection of payments according to credit terms
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and comply with credit policies
Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback
Compliance & Professional Conduct
  • Comply with company policies, SOPs, and ethical standards
  • Safeguard company information and assets
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
  • At least a Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in trading
