A leading trading company in the industrial materials sector is seeking a Sales or Business Development professional to expand their client base in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, and Penang. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of B to B sales experience, with a preference for those having a background in resin or plastic industries. Responsibilities include making cold calls, managing customer relationships, and promoting environmentally-friendly plastic products. This full-time position offers a company car for sales activities and requires occasional business trips.
A Japanese trading company mainly trading industrial materials, machinery or parts, and plastic & resin products.
Company car will provide for sales activities.
Job description:
Mainly doing Business Development.
Making cold calls (using past company lists and records, company referrals, and handling inbound inquiries).
Handling resin material from client and promote to their current/new customer.
Product is mainly environment material like bio-plastic etc (Customer mostly local companies from food category, or packaging industry etc).
First, they will teach and try to handle the machine parts of extrusion machine and know how to process the plastic and resin material. Sales area: Mainly KL, JB, Penang. Business trip will be required maybe once in a duration of 1 to 2 months times.
Working hour: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.
