Overview

As a Sales Mechanical Engineer at Optima Tricon Sdn Bhd., you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by using your technical expertise to sell and promote our innovative mechanical engineering solutions. Based in Penang, this full-time position will see you work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored products and services that exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mechanical Design.
• Provide technical advice and support to new and existing customer.
• Develop and maintain close productive relationship with the key accounts to ensure continuing sales support services are provided.
• Identify inputs to design and development, plan out the activities for effective implementation and monitoring of the design and development, including the need to manage the necessary change(s).
• Maintain the records of design and development in the respective files.
• Perform assembly process and the required verifications and/or validations such as inspections and testing during incoming, in-process as well as outgoing gates. Maintain all necessary records of such verifications and validations.
• Control drawings, both internally generated and externally received, to ensure their validity for distribution and use.
• Provide handling of customer complaint in a professional way.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 year(s) of working experience in related field is required for this position.
• Computer literate and able to work independently.
• Knowledge in Solidworks software.
