Sales and Business Development
- Drive sales growth for import & export business across regional and international markets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, customers, and distributors.
- Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with key accounts and partners.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and price negotiations to secure deals.
- Conduct regular sales visits, virtual meetings, and client presentations.
- Oversee customer onboarding process and provide after‑sales support.
Marketing, Branding & Roadshows
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for international markets.
- Manage marketing campaigns, digital advertising, product promotions, and content creation.
- Plan, organize, and manage company roadshows, trade exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Coordinate event setup, manpower, marketing materials, and post‑event reporting.
- Work closely with internal teams to design brochures, catalogues, and promotional materials.
Import & Export Operations Management
- Oversee full import/export process including documentation, LC handling, shipping schedules, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, forwarding agents, warehouses, and logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with international regulations, Incoterms, and customs requirements.
- Monitor shipment progress, solve delivery issues, and ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Review and optimize supply chain lead times, cost efficiencies, and logistics workflow.
Strategic Leadership
- Set annual and monthly sales targets for the team and ensure achievement of KPIs.
- Analyze business performance, sales data, margins, and market trends.
- Develop long‑term strategies for market penetration and product expansion.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales & marketing team.
- Conduct training to improve product knowledge, negotiation skills, and market understanding.
- Provide guidance, performance evaluation, and coaching to drive team success.
Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years experience in import/export sales or international trading environment.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping procedures, customs documentation, and logistics coordination.
- Proven track record in managing international customers and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team.
- Willing to travel overseas when required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CRM software, digital marketing tools, and data analysis.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and make fast decisions.
- Strong commercial awareness and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in additional languages (Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic, etc.) is an advantage.
