We are representing a well-established FMCG distribution group with strong nationwide coverage and a long-standing presence in the Malaysian market. As part of business strengthening and succession planning, the company is looking to hire experienced Sales Managers to lead regional teams and drive sustainable growth.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for FMCG professionals who understand distributor‑led environments and thrive in managing people, execution, and performance on the ground.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans to achieve regional targets

  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts

  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales reps and merchandisers to ensure strong market execution

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour, translating insights into actionable strategies

  • Ensure proper execution of pricing, promotions, and channel policies to maintain market discipline

  • Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure product availability, promotion rollout, and timely collections

  • Track sales performance, analyse gaps, and implement corrective actions

  • Manage sales budgets and expenses to maximise ROI

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

  • Strong understanding of FMCG channels (GT, MT, KA) and distributor operations

  • Proven experience managing sales teams and merchandisers

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills

  • High data sensitivity with solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities

  • Results‑driven, resilient, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment

  • Willingness to travel as required
