1. Strategic Sales Planning & Product Management
- Collaborate with the Managing Director (MD) of PPI and the Product Development & Marketing (PDM) Team to confirm and take ownership of products targeted for sale to schools and distributors.
- Strategize to ensure alignment of the product line with the overall product strategy, including sales pitching and product positioning.
- Optimize and monitor inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock levels, avoiding both shortages and overstocking.
- Work with the PDM Team to manage replenishments and reprints, ensuring continuous product availability.
- Identify market opportunities to review and recommend PPG titles for adoption and non-adoption by schools, providing a clear data-driven rationale for each recommendation.
- Contribute to product development initiatives by providing detailed feedback and valuable insights to the PDM Team for titles targeting the school markets.
2. Achieving Sales Targets & Driving Growth
- Ensure the achievement of sales targets by regularly analyzing sales performance data for both school and dealer channels and proactively identifying and addressing any deviations from targets.
- Expand the customer base and channels by actively identifying and onboarding new schools, foundations, and dealers.
3. Managing Customer Relationships & Agreements
- Oversee customers’ business agreements to effectively manage relationships with all business partners and schools, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
- Manage and administer incentives, commissions, and rebates for sales executives and dealers accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee collections and returns processes for the school team and dealers, implementing effective remote tracking and communication to prevent potential issues.
4. Leading and Developing Sales Teams & Dealers
- Manage the sales team by providing training, coaching, and mentoring to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and overall effectiveness in promoting products to customers.
- Optimize the dealer network to ensure they can effectively execute promotional campaigns initiated by the PDM Team.
5. Marketing & Promotion
- Execute marketing and promotional campaigns developed by the PDM Team for schools and dealers through various channels and engagement activities.
- Conduct online and onsite product presentations to deliver engaging and informative sessions that train and inform participants.
6. Reporting & Additional Responsibilities
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to the MD of PPI.
- Perform any ad hoc duties related to the above as assigned by your superior, ensuring effective remote communication and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements for this Role:
