Job Overview
We are seeking a driven, hands‑on Sales Manager to lead, coach, and motivate our motorcycle sales team. This role is responsible for increasing unit sales, improving closing rates, and driving overall dealership profitability while creating a high‑energy, customer‑focused sales culture.
Ideal candidate is a strong leader who understands both motorcycle retail and modern sales management, and can turn goals into daily action.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, motivate, and hold the sales team accountable to performance standards
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales staff
- Conduct daily sales meetings, role‑playing, and one‑on‑one coaching
- Build a competitive, positive, and goal‑oriented sales culture
Sales Performance & Growth
- Set and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Track KPIs such as closing ratios, lead response time, average deal value, and units sold
- Implement strategies to increase showroom traffic, appointment show rates, and conversions
- Work closely with Finance and Insurance to maximize gross profit per deal
Customer Experience
- Ensure a professional, enthusiastic, and transparent buying experience
- Step in to assist with deal structuring and negotiations when needed
- Handle escalated customer concerns to protect dealership reputation
Process & Strategy
- Develop and refine sales processes for walk‑ins, phone leads, and digital leads
- Coordinate with marketing on promotions, inventory focus, and seasonal campaigns
- Analyze sales data and adjust strategies to improve results
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Leader (automotive, powersports, or similar retail preferred)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
- Track record of increasing sales performance and profitability
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Data‑driven mindset with the ability to read and act on sales reports
- Passion for motorcycles and the automotive industry is a strong plus
