Job description

To possess excellent communication skills in customer relations, be aggressive in targeting new business and exceed established goals for their market segment and to develop new clientele for boosting hotel sales.

Key Responsibilities

Ability in managing team in delegating tasks and ensures to perform effectively in implementing business strategies in set of high performance standards and pursue agreed goals.

To achieve sales targets allocated by Hotel Manager effectively cover the market according to territory and types of customers allocated by Hotel Manager, namely corporate clients, clubs and association, government, semi-government, embassies, and et cetera.

Develop and identify new business opportunity as expected to achieve a conversion target sales leads into actual business revenues.

To uncover leads for Banquet Event Order (B.E.O) involved in managing and coordinating all aspect of banquet events from planning to execute and post event follow up.

Analyzing sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and effective sales strategies.

Building and maintain a strong relationship with client and be as a representing the company in sales-related events and meeting.

Develop and ensuring that in-house and corporate promotional initiatives are carried through professionally and participate in sales blitz according to guideline set by Hotel Manager.

Requirements

Possess at least Degree in Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management / Marketing or equivalent.

Min 5 years working experience and well knowledge in Sales & Marketing Division preferably in the Hotel Industry. Candidate with an existing corporate client database would be an added advantage.

Experienced in closing sales above RM 400,000.00.

Computer literate and possess good communication and written skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Good in personality and appearance, organizational, independent, detail-oriented & high level of integrity.

Convenient to travel as well as work in outdoor setting and able to attend during event & long hours when needed.
