A leading e-cigarette company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to manage distributor relationships and execute sales strategies in the vape industry. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years in sales management or trade marketing. You will lead market expansion efforts and coordinate marketing programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams. We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur /Penang. In this role, you will be responsible for managing distributor relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve business targets.
This is a full-time, remote position that requires extensive travel within your assigned territory.
Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new commercial opportunities to grow market share in the vape industry.
Sales Performance: Ensure the sales team achieves OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) through target setting, and monitoring.
Territory Management: Develop and execute strategic sales plan and Lead distributor partnerships.
Trade Program Management: Coordinate, execute, and monitor trade marketing programs to enhance brand visibility and retailer engagement.
RTM Strategy Execution: Collaborate with Commercial Head to implement RTM strategies, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
Distribution Optimization: Enhance channel efficiency, coverage, and cost-effectiveness across retail/distribution networks.
Retail Dynamics Analysis: Leverage deep market insights to refine pricing, promotions, and product placement strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless strategy delivery.
Market Adaptation: Proactively navigate regulatory shifts, competitive pressures, and market challenges in the vape landscape.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in RTM, sales management, or trade marketing within Vape, FMCG, or Telecommunications.
Industry Knowledge: Proven success in the vape industry is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in designing and executing RTM strategies. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth. Proficiency in data analysis for decision-making (e.g., sales metrics, market trends).
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Resilience and adaptability in high-pressure, evolving markets.
Leadership skills to motivate teams and influence stakeholders.
