Job Summary

As part of EPOS’ strategic expansion into the Malaysian market, we are building a dynamic team of Account Managers to drive our ambitious growth plans. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven team dedicated to empowering Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) owners to embrace digital transformation through EPOS’ cutting‑edge solutions, including Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and Payment Terminals. In this Sales Manager role, you will play a critical part in developing sales strategies and leading a team of Account Managers by motivating them to achieve sales targets through new merchant acquisition. You’ll work directly with business owners, understand their pain points, and position EPOS as the trusted partner to digitalize their operations—from F&B to Retail and beyond—leveraging our POS solutions, Soundbox devices, and Payment Terminals. This is more than just a sales role—it’s a chance to be part of a meaningful movement to help local businesses thrive in an increasingly digital economy.

Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Drive, lead, and motivate the team, setting sales targets and ensuring the team meets targets.
  • Analyze sales data, track performance against targets, and provide feedback to the team.
Acquiring Merchants
  • Handle on‑ground sales strategies such as proactive cold calling, outbound lead generation, and engaging inbound leads to identify potential merchants to onboard with EPOS.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential merchants.
  • Negotiate and communicate contract terms with key merchants to seal agreements.
Account Management
  • Engage key merchants and provide the best solutions to address their business needs and maximize their sales potential.
Stakeholders
  • Build relationships and engage key merchants on a daily basis.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including marketing, operations, customer success, and service.
Requirements
  • Previously worked in a sales role for at least 5 years, including pitching products or digital solutions and/or leading a sales team.
  • Good understanding and connections in the SME, F&B, or Retail industries.
  • Outgoing and proactively seek opportunities to drive sales.
  • Excellent communicator with a strong ability to influence.
  • Result‑oriented, motivated, and committed to success.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
