Responsibilities
- Manage and grow SOC sales across assigned territories, routes, and trade lanes.
- Identify and acquire new customers, including freight forwarders, NVOCCs, and direct shippers.
- Prepare and deliver customer proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Support the SOC Sales Head in developing and implementing sales strategies.
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for mid- to large-scale SOC customers.
- Conduct regular customer reviews to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Handle escalations related to bookings, pricing, and service commitments.
- Build long-term partnerships to strengthen customer loyalty.
Revenue & Performance Tracking
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets (volume, yield, and profitability).
- Monitor booking performance, customer share, and utilization of container allocation.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Support accurate CRM updates and ensure data governance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with documentation and customer service teams for smooth booking execution.
- Coordinate with trade/pricing teams to finalize competitive quotations.
- Support marketing activities such as trade shows and customer events.
Leadership & Team Support
- Mentor and guide junior sales executives and sales admins.
- Promote a customer-centric sales culture focused on results and service quality.
- Provide input to the SOC Sales Head on market developments and team performance.
