Job summary

A senior living provider in Port Klang is seeking a Sales Executive (Outdoor / Business Development) to drive resident occupancy through outbound sales efforts. This role involves sourcing new leads, maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, and achieving sales targets for assisted and independent living residents. The ideal candidate is passionate about eldercare, possesses a diploma or degree in a relevant field, and has 3–5 years of sales experience, proficient in English and Mandarin. Willingness to travel is required.

Job description

The primary purpose of the Sales Executive (Outdoor / Business Development) is to drive resident occupancy at Pacific Senior Living through outbound sales efforts. This role proactively sources new leads through external partnerships such as hospitals, healthcare providers, community organisations, and corporate engagements.

This is a performance-based role with competitive basic pay and an attractive commission structure, rewarding high performers who are driven, resourceful, and motivated to go beyond traditional inbound channels.

Sales & Business Development

Achieve sales targets for assisted and independent living residents.

Actively source new leads through hospital collaborations, medical networks and other related community groups.

Build and maintain relationships with external referral sources including general practitioners, discharge planners, senior clubs, and wellness centres.

Maintain and update lead pipelines using the CRM system, tracking sales performance and ensuring data accuracy.

Collaborate with senior management and the Sales & Marketing Manager to support and refine localized sales strategies.

Identify gaps in the market and propose new outreach initiatives to engage untapped prospects.

Provide insights from ground-level sales to inform and improve overall sales direction.

Brand Management

Represent Pacific Senior Living as the leading care expert you can trust in all external engagements.

Uphold brand standards in all communications, tours, and events with prospects and their families.

Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism when engaging with seniors, families, and healthcare professionals.

Digital & Lead Conversion Support (in collaboration with Marketing Team)

Support digital marketing campaigns with on-ground feedback and prospect conversion insights.

Share content ideas or testimonials to support digital storytelling, especially for targeted campaigns.

Community Engagement

Organize and participate in outreach initiatives such as health talks, roadshows, hospital events, and professional networking sessions.

Serve as a relationship bridge between Pacific Senior Living and key external stakeholders in healthcare, eldercare, and corporate wellness.

Proactively grow market share through research, profiling, relationship building, and targeted outreach.

Participate in exhibitions, health forums, and strategic events to build brand visibility and drive referrals.

Monitor competitor offerings and identify PSL’s unique advantages.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of referrals, conversions, and follow-ups in the CRM system.

Prepare sales reports and provide updates to senior leadership as needed.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales (preferably healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or real estate).

Proficient in English and Mandarin;

Passionate about eldercare and able to engage with families and seniors empathetically.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of independent outreach.

Pleasant and caring personality, with high integrity and professionalism.

Willing to travel; must have own transport.

Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when needed.
