Job description

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales quotas and targets.
• Generate sales and profitable margins by managing and expanding existing business, as well as targeting and opening new business opportunities.
• Liaise with existing customers to ensure continued business relationships.
• Prepare quotations for customers and monitor collections.
• Coordinate with Production Planner and Sales Coordinator for production planning.
• Attend to customer complaints and follow up on quality claim forms.
• Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities; recommend profit and service improvements.
• Conduct customer surveys to monitor satisfaction and requirements.
• Identify product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Prepare reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and benchmarking best practices.
• Handle collections.
• Prepare cylinder engraving, including reviewing artwork with the Printing Department and cylinder maker.

Competency Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or a related field.
• Education: Minimum Senior Middle 3 or SPM or equivalent.
• Market analysis and basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to travel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, Malay, and Mandarin; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
