Job summary

A leading poultry farm in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to develop and implement sales plans for fertilizer products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new customers, managing the sales process from start to finish, and ensuring strong relationships with clients. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets for fertilizer products, ensuring alignment with the company’s direction.
  • Identify and pursue new and potential customers to create a more diversified sales portfolio for the company.
  • Lead and manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.
  • Monitor and track sales performance against targets, making adjustments as necessary to meet sales KPIs.
  • Close sales and respond promptly to inquiries, providing appropriate information to achieve individual sales targets and annual goals.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments from customers to generate positive cash flow and minimize exposure to bad debts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, including farmers, distributors, agro-dealers, and plantation owners.
Requirements
  • At least SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in sales.
  • Must have own transportation and be willing to travel across designated sales regions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, aggressive, and results-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer-literate.
