The position is based under KLK OLEO located in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written. Able to speak and write in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of chemical/oleochemical products and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possess own transport and willingness to travel as needed.
ADDITIONAL NOTES/DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Experience with international sales and export processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the oleochemical industry.
- Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
