We serve key industries including Food & Beverage, Palm Oil, Oil & Fats, Paper Mill, and General Industry.
We are looking for a motivated and technically inclined Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical solutions in steam and condensate systems. This role requires frequent customer visits and a willingness to engage in hands‑on work at plant sites.
Achieve assigned sales targets and gross margin objectives.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships to ensure customer trust and confidence in Spirax Sarco’s solutions.
Develop and communicate a strong Customer Value Proposition (CVP) that highlights measurable value in energy efficiency, process reliability, and cost savings.
Identify and develop new customers, prospects, and business opportunities in assigned industries.
Conduct regular customer visits, technical presentations, and site surveys.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
Assist customers with technical queries and provide solutions suitable for their process requirements.
Follow up with customers after delivery/installation to ensure satisfaction and smooth operation.
Submit weekly activity reports, sales forecasts, and opportunity updates in the CRM system on time.
Coordinate with service teams to resolve any technical issues on‑site.
Provide market insights and feedback to management for continuous improvement.
Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends and provide actionable insights.
Support and execute strategic sales initiatives or campaigns assigned by management.
Continuously enhance technical and product knowledge through company training and self‑learning.
Participate in guided on‑site visits or practical sessions (when required) to better understand system performance and provide informed solutions to customers.
Work closely with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and commissioning of projects.
Assist in technical documentation and compliance with quality standards.
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
1–5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in steam systems, process equipment, or related fields.
Fresh graduates with strong interest in technical sales are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and responsible attitude.
Willing to travel frequently within assigned territories.
Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and willing to learn.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Based in Kuantan, covering the East Coast area. Being based in Kemaman is also acceptable.
