Job summary

A leading technology company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a passionate and results-oriented Sales Engineer. This role involves executing effective sales strategies, delivering technical presentations, and providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will have at least a Diploma in relevant fields, with a minimum of 2 years in sales of inspection equipment, and must possess strong communication and marketing skills. Knowledge in industrial 4.0 is advantageous. Willingness to travel is expected.

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate & result-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be involved in Lead Generation, Sales Operation & Customer Account Management, and Distribution Management Operation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Expand and penetrate CCS business by implementing effective sales & marketing strategies.
  • Prepare & deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
  • Work hand-in-hand with System Integrator & Sales Channel Partners in expanding market reach.
  • Provide excellent customer service by conferring with customers & engineers to assess solutions needed.
  • Conduct market research, analysis & benchmarking to keep abreast of the latest technologies & market trends.
  • Play the role in marketing events, product launching roadmap, product demonstration, technical marketing, system integrators improvement project & etc.
Job Requirements
  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Degree in Engineering (EE, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Robotics & Automations), Science & Technology, Marketing or related disciplines.
  • Required skills: Marketing Presentation, Product Launching, Market Survey Research, Communication & Negotiation skills.
  • Exposure in E&E, Semiconductor, Precision Engineering and Metal Fabrication industry is preferable.
  • Preferably with min.2 years’ experience in selling inspection equipment (Automation Sales) / electronics systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial 4.0 & automated inspection product’s capability, strength, shortfall, pricing strategy is an added advantage.
  • Those from the business / marketing background with related industrial experience will be considered.
  • Be ready to socialize and attend social meetings as and when needed.
  • Must be independent, sociable, cheerful, and effective in daily job.
  • Able to communicate command in English, Malay and Cantonese or Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Willing to travel interstates such as Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor on business trip basis as and when required.
