Job summary

A local exhibition firm in Johor Bahru seeks a dedicated individual to handle sales inquiries, manage logistics, and coordinate operations.   • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries.
  • Manage accurate commercial quotations and proposals for the Sales Team.
  • Liaise with Operations to schedule deliveries and installations.
  • Monitor project timelines to avoid delays.
  • Travel to oversee setup and dismantle processes.

Job description

Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 am – 6:00 pm) & Saturday (9:00 am – 2:00 pm).

Commitment: Candidates are expected to work long hours and must be flexible to meet project demands and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming sales inquiries via email and WhatsApp.

Draft, prepare, and manage accurate commercial quotations and proposals to support the Sales Team.

Ensure all client requirements are translated accurately into internal work orders.

2. Logistics & Operational Coordination

Liaise closely with the Operations Department to schedule deliveries, installations, and dismantling works.

Monitor project timelines to ensure all schedules are met without delays.

Resolve logistical challenges proactively to ensure smooth workflow between the office and the warehouse.

Travel to event sites to oversee the setup and dismantle processes.

Coordinate directly with ground workers and general workers (using Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin) to ensure work is done according to the client's specifications.

Verify that all materials and inventory on-site match the delivery orders.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum SPM qualification. No experience required; training will be provided.

Language: Must be fluent in Mandarin (Chinese) and Bahasa Malaysia (Malay) for effective communication with clients and ground workers.

Core Attributes: Must be highly responsible. Candidates must be willing to endure hardship and willing to work overtime.
