Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Account Manager to oversee and grow customer accounts in the Johor region, with a strong focus on clients within the consumer electronics and EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) sector. The ideal candidate will be a Mandarin-speaking professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, account management, and industrial solutions. Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of customers primarily within the consumer electronics and EMS industries.
- Develop new business opportunities in the Johor region while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
- Provide excellent customer service and tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Drive revenue growth through consultative sales approaches and effective negotiation.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for upselling/cross-selling.
- Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, operations, and customer service) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, profitability goals, and KPIs.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence updates for management.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new market developments.
- Represent the company professionally at trade shows, networking events, and customer visits.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is strongly preferred due to frequent interaction with Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally with exposure to consumer electronics and EMS clients.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within the Johor region for client meetings and site visits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems is an added advantage.
