Job summary

A construction company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an individual to assist the Safety & Health Manager in implementing safety measures at the construction site. Responsibilities include reviewing safety manuals, promoting safe work conduct, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will manage workplace safety reporting and toolbox briefings in accordance with statutory acts and regulations, making this a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety measures and procedures in construction.
• Ability to conduct inspections and manage safety reports.
• Familiarity with environmental, safety and health statutory acts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety & Health Manager in safety procedures.
• Review and update safety manuals and procedures.
• Promote safer work conduct and ensure personal protection.
• Compile monthly Safety and Health Report.
• Manage toolbox safety briefings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct inspections and manage incident investigations.

Job description

1. 1. Responsible to assist the Safety & Health Manager in implementing safety measures and procedures at the construction site.
2. 2. Review and update health and safety manuals, rules, procedures and etc.
3. 3. Promote safer conduct of work and ensure personal protection.
4. 4. Compile and update monthly Safety and Health Report at the workplace to keep track of safety performance indicator.
5. 5. Track and manage toolbox safety briefing.
6. 6. Ensure safety measures and procedures are in accordance with environmental, safety and health statutory acts and regulations.
7. 7. Conduct regular inspections, accident/incident investigations and issue instruction to correct any unsafe working condition performed.
