Job summary

A leading technology firm in Johor is seeking a Safety Manager responsible for maintaining incident records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and conducting safety training. The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience and hold a valid DOSH Registered SHO (Green Book). This role also involves organizing committee meetings and performing regular inspections to ensure safety policies are implemented effectively. Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of experience in safety management or related department.
  • Certified trainer for in-house safety and health training.
  • Experience with risk assessments for ISO14001.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of incidents and accidents.

  • Conduct regular inspections for policy implementation.
  • Organize Safety and Health Committee meetings.
  • Review and maintain Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control (HIRARC).

Job description
Grand Venture Technology – Taman Desa Cemerlang, Johor

Maintain records of incident and accident and produces subsequent reports and recommendations to management.

Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with mandatory regulations.

Monitoring and handling scheduled Waste Management.

Conducts regular size inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and complies with the relevant regulations.

Organizes and attend Safety and Health Committee meetings and conduct in-house training (certified trainer) on safety and health issues i.e. chemical spillage, fire drill, first aid, FSO training.

Risk assessment of environmental Aspect & Impact (ISO14001).

Maintaining & reviewing HIRARC.

Requirements
  • Valid DOSH Registered SHO (Green Book)
  • Three or more years of experience in related department
  • Understanding of safety management system and regulatory issues
  • Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM)
