The candidate will conduct risk assessments, manage safety training, and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations. Ideal applicants should hold a degree in Occupational Safety and Health with a valid DOSH-certified Safety and Health Officer certificate, alongside strong communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications

  • Degree/diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health, or related field.
  • Valid DOSH-certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) certificate.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety-related laws in Malaysia.
  • Experience in similar roles in industries like manufacturing, construction, or oil and gas.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety laws and regulations.
  • Organize and conduct employee safety training.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and prepare reports.
  • Perform safety inspections and maintain safety equipment.
  • Coordinate health programs for employees.
  • Maintain documentation of safety audits and compliance.
  • Act as the point of contact for emergency situations.
