Responsibilities

• To ensure compliance and promote safe conduct of works.
• Implement policies, activities, procedure, instructions as required by the Laws/Acts/Regulations (Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994) - DOSH
• To act as the company’s liaison with relevant authorities such as DOSH, CIDB, Bomba on matters concerning Safety and Health.
• Ensure that safety requirements are implemented by subcontractors including a safety management plan, safety procedures, safe work methods, and safety improvement.
• Create awareness to all staff on matters pertaining to Safety and Health.
• Ensure compliance with local environmental requirements.
• Ensure Site Safety Supervisor carries out regular safety visits, audits, and inspections.
• Ensure emergency resolve plans are implemented properly.
• Ensure all the machinery policies, procedures and instructions comply with JKKP regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalents.
• At least 5 years of working experience in construction safety supervision and implementation.
• Competent and well versed with health and safety legislation, NIOSH and OSHA regulations, and knowledgeable in CIDB.
• Registered as Qualified Safety and Health Officer with DOSH (Green Book Holder)
• Registered Qualified NIOSH, First Aider and CIDB(Green Card)
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor\'s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Others or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 3 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
