Job description
Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Advise the Project Manager on the statutory requirements and necessary compliances and amendments for all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
  • Execute and monitor the implementation, maintenance and performance of PSHP.
  • Carry out OSH audit and inspection periodically to assess the degree of conformance to the Authority’s and Client’s requirements on OHS matters.
  • Review and make recommendations from time‑to‑time with regard to improvement of the existing OSH practices at the site.
  • Serve as Secretary to the Site Safety and Health committee.
  • Arrange and execute OSH promotions to employees and works by organizing training, campaigns, talks etc.
  • Prepare all minutes of meeting and reports pertaining to OSH for submission and records purposes.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a valid Green Book registered with DOSH as a Safety and Health Officer.
  • Knowledge of construction safety practices.
  • Exposure in building construction will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the same capacity.
