Peninsular HoHup Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Safety and Health Officer to join our team in Batu Kawan/ Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees across our construction sites and offices.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures and training programmes
  • Investigating incidents and accidents, and reporting findings to management
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulations
  • Providing guidance and support to project teams on safety‑related matters
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture across the organisation
What we’re looking for
  • Possess a valid Green Book and registered with DOSH/JKKP.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
