Job summary

A financial services company located in Malaysia is seeking a RTR Analyst to manage the General Ledger and support the finance team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include ensuring the achievement of SLA targets, processing journal entries, and liaising with various finance departments. Strong communication skills in English and Thai are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proven working experience in Shared Service Center with good understanding of Record to Report (RTR) process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the team achieves their SLA targets regarding invoicing procedures.
  • Maintain General Ledger under the supervision of GL Manager.
  • Process all general ledger journals accurately.
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Treasury departments on GL issues.
  • Assist GL Manager in supporting in-country FD and Regional Finance.

Key Responsibilities
  • In accordance to invoicing procedures and controls to ensure the team achieve their SLA targets
  • Maintenance of General Ledger under supervision of GL Manager
  • Process all general ledger journals and understand/challenge before input
  • Liaison with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and update GL Manager on progress at regular intervals during the month
  • Liaise with country Finance team on GL issues
  • Assist the GL Manager to ensure timely and accurate support of in‑country FD, Regional Finance and other internal customers on all reporting issues
  • Preparation of relevant supporting returns / schedules for tax and statutory reporting.
Qualification / Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven working experience in Shared Service Center with good understanding of Record to Report (RTR) process
  • Good communication skills in both written and oral (English & Thai)
  • Willing to work in Malaysia
