Job Summary

Strategically located in IOI City, Putrajaya, the company employs over 1,200 skilled professionals, providing a broad spectrum of services to institutional clients across Europe, including Custody & Cash Clearing, Fund Administration, Fund Distribution, Master Data Services, Market Solutions, Group Invoicing, Reconciliations and Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions. The Risk Manager will act as an independent governance unit reporting directly to the Head of Department and will ensure the effectiveness of the controls adopted in the FA department. This includes performing control testing to assess FA overall Design Effectiveness and Operational Effectiveness.

Location & Working Hours

Putrajaya, Malaysia | 9:00AM - 6:00PM

Responsibilities

• Risk & Control Governance from BAU (perform control testing, assess Design Effectiveness and Operational Effectiveness of FA processes).
• BAU Technical and Change Support (Change Control, Enhancement Requests & Training and Competency Framework).
• Management Reporting – project status, updates and departmental performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree / BSc or equivalent.
• 6‑10 years of experience (typically 5‑10 years in Investment, Portfolio, Program/Project & Operational Management).
• Knowledge of Fund Industry, products and Financial Markets in general, with an understanding of IFRS and country‑specific accounting standards.
• Strong risk mindset, governance discipline and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation, planning and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Macro, VBA or coding – a plus.

Technical Skills

• Good knowledge of Fund Administration, NAV calculation and preparation of financial statements (FA).
• Knowledge of market practice for transactions & market settlements (Custody), fund capital movement and settlement timelines (TA).
• Understanding of accounting standards (IFRS and country specific).
